The Antelope Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District is governed by a five member Board of Trustees whose members represent the citizens of Lancaster, Palmdale and the Los Angeles County areas that fall within the District limits. 

Each city appoints one Board member and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors appoint three members to the Board.
